Let’s Talk Doshas

In Ayurveda, doshas are the natural energies that shape how we move, digest, think, feel, and rest. Formed from the five elements—air, space, fire, water, and earth—they influence both body and mind.

Everyone has a unique constitution, a personal mix of these energies. When one dosha becomes too dominant, balance can be lost. Ayurveda focuses on gently restoring harmony by working with these energies instead of against them.

Rather than being something you have or lack, doshas describe patterns of energy at work within you. Each carries its own qualities, rhythms, and needs. Through daily rituals—especially grounding practices, nutrition, and beauty or self-care rituals—Ayurveda helps bring these energies back into balance, enhancing wellness, clarity, zest, and calm.
