Fig

Fig as a Fragrance Ingredient

I had fresh figs once. I can’t remember where. Greece, maybe. A soothing Mediterranean evening.

The tree with its round friendly leaves — almost like hand fans.

The fruit — sweet but not too much.

The leaf — milky green. Luxuriously clean.

Figs are as old as the Egyptians. They stood the test of time — and then noses in the late nineties discovered them to serve exclusive perfume houses. The idea of smelling like the fruit our 5000 year old ancestors ate keeps me going.

Fig brings that innocent, I’m here to stay fun.

Mircea knew — Fig Tree Peppermint body wash. The fig — playful, seductive. The peppermint keeps the day breeze.

But fig for me: red hair, light blue glasses, apricot lips. A warm cheeky smile. A scent of getting lost on a warm dark night. You?
